Investments in real estate allow you to have a real investment that is likely to appreciate. Real estate is considered a hard asset, meaning that unlike stocks, you have something real and tangible that has real value and that won’t simply disappear in a poof of smoke. I offer all kinds of Utah investments in real estate with the home as collateral. If you invest with me, you will be in first or second lien position on a mortgage note that is signed at the title company. This gives you control and puts you in the same legal position of bank. For example, let’s consider an investment house that I just bought:
I just bought a 5 bed 2 bath home and purchased it at a very good price. I like single family homes because in Ogden Utah, they cash flow very well. Also, I don’t have to worry about people being noisy through the wall or fighting over the heat or parking as occurs quite often if you buy a duplex.
I rented this 5 bed 2 bath house to a rent to own buyer few weeks after buying it. Not only did I get a large downpayment but I also am receiving $850 a month and I’m paying about $280 a month for the mortgage. Tax is about $50 a month and insurance about $30 so I’m making about $490 a month and I don’t have to do any maintenance. Can an investment get better than this? Each month I make close to $500 with little or no work. If you can find an investment that is more secure than this and if you can find an investment that has higher returns than this, please let me know. The simple truth is that there is no other investment better than this!
